This is a great exercise that will also have a big impact on your mood.

Vitamin C is known as a powerful antioxidant, which means that eating a handful of them every day will not only improve your immune system, but will also improve your skin and hair. If you’re not a big fan of eating green vegetables, there are plenty of other choices.
Exercise more – You probably already know how to wake up refreshed and energized, but did you know that exercising helps your body to relax? When you exercise, your body releases natural chemicals called endorphins. Endorphins work to make you feel positive and give you more energy. Not only that, exercise can actually help you get back into shape if you are losing weight.

The best way to wake up refreshed and not tired is to practice meditation – Meditation is an excellent way to ease your transition into your new waking hours. Many people sleep better when they meditate. Try reading a book for a few minutes or spending 15 minutes chewing gum. You can also try progressive muscle relaxation. This involves slowly exercising each muscle in your body until relaxation.
Watch your diet – How to wake up refreshed and energized should start with a good, balanced diet. If you eat too much late at night, you won’t be feeling very well when you get up in the morning. Also, watch what you eat before going to bed. Stay away from foods that are high in sugar. Stay away from alcohol as well because alcohol can dehydrate you. These are some things you can do to start getting ready for your day and improving your ability to get the most out of your mornings.

Take a hot shower – This may sound silly, but it really helps you wake up refreshed and energized. If you haven’t ever tried a hot shower, you are missing out. It works so well that you may wonder how you have been able to live without one for this long. A hot shower helps to open your pores so you can breathe easier. It also gives your skin a nice soft glow which is great for the morning. That’s how to wake up with motivation and lots of energy.
Exercise – This seems like an obvious tip, but it is surprising how many people don’t do this. Even if you’re not planning to do any exercises in the morning, at least exercise when you’re getting up. Doing some light exercise a few minutes before you hit the bathroom will give you the energy to hit the bathroom. If you don’t have time for exercise, do something active, such as playing with your kids, reading, or chatting on the phone. These are some of the ways of how to wake up refreshed and energized.
